Your files and book details
Selected TXT files, EPUBs, and cover images are read and converted in your browser. The site doesn’t upload their contents, book titles, authors, or other book details to our server. There is no online account or library for storing your files.
Results remain in browser memory until you download them to your device. We don’t persist your selected files or book details in cookies, localStorage, or IndexedDB. Reloading or leaving the page requires you to select a file again. You control the files you download.
Your language preference
When you choose English or Simplified Chinese, we save that preference in this browser’s localStorage so it applies on your next visit and across the site. No file contents are included. You can clear the preference by clearing this site’s browser data. If storage is unavailable, switching languages still works for the current page.
Website requests and access logs
Local conversion still requires ordinary requests to load pages, styles, scripts, and WebAssembly. The public site at epubloom.com runs on a server managed by ficbase. Its web access logs may record IP addresses, request times, browser information, paths, and referrers. These requests don’t include the selected book or cover contents.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
The public site at epubloom.com loads Google AdSense code to connect this website to our publisher account and support advertising after approval. Requests to Google may include your IP address, browser information, and the page URL. We don’t send your selected files or book details to AdSense. We don’t use a separate analytics service.
Google and other third-party advertising vendors may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve and measure ads based on your visits to this and other websites, including personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising using the links below. Where consent is required, advertising must follow your consent choices; the site’s language preference is stored separately from advertising cookies.
